A Little Something Sweet for a Valentines Day Treat!

I looked at the calendar this morning and had a mild panic attack at the fact that Valentines Day is just around the corner!

My husband and I decided to keep Valentines Day low key this year and just stick to cards.... well, I'm not a "just cards" kinda gal.

I love making people smile and giving them something... even if it's just a little something that says, "I thought about you and wanted to make your day special."

I found this awesome website with some fun ideas!

Balloon Surprise Box!

It's always fun to find new websites and blogs online. I ran across this fun website today.

Oh PARTY! got my "idea wheel" spinning again and this is what I came up with.

My husband's nephew is expecting his first baby. This means that it will be the first great grandchild for my in-laws. Martin and Sara are having a gender reveal party and I was looking for something fun to take as a gift. However, not knowing the sex of the baby until we arrive at the party made it a difficult task to fulfil...until I found this!

What a fun idea to fill a box full of pink and blue balloons and putting a few dollars into each one of them. Gender reveals don't often call for gifts, but this would be something fun to "kick start" all the baby boy or baby girl shopping that's about to empty their savings account!

My First Post as a Career Woman!

It's official. I have posted my first post on my event planning blog!
I feel like we need to celebrate!

I am excited for what the future holds as far as my career goes. I know that it will benefit my family, as I am a stay at home mommy of almost 1 year old twin girls. Event planning has always been a dream of mine and I am thrilled at the support of my husband, friends and family as I begin to take on this endeavour.

Over time, I will begin to post some past events that I have done. I know that this is only the beginning of great things!

I will close this blog with a quick celebration dessert.
